REASONS FOR YOUR RATING OF SHORT TERM EFFECTS:
It has been chosen to rate Methamphetamine with a very strong impact. The reasons for this is because meth is considered especially powerful and an addictive substance; it is far more additive than cocaine or other drugs because of its powerful effect on the brain. Meth is also a threat to your life in many ways. Some short term life threatening reasons include constriction of the walls of the arteries, cardiac arrest, muscle breakdown which can lead to kidney damage or failure, strokes, and Brain damage. As you can see meth is no joking matter and is to be taken seriously because it is life threatening; this is indeed why meth is rated #4, a very strong impact!
